Current PhD Students
Sergio Guillén is a Ph.D. student at the Crawford School of Public Policy, ANU. Previously he worked as Senior Social Dialogue Specialist for the Foundation for Peace and Democracy (FUNPADEM) in Costa Rica. He has worked since 1993 as a renewable energy consultant, mediator and dialogue facilitator in Latin America. He has also lectured on leadership, sustainability and conflict resolution in Universities in Costa Rica, Mexico and El Salvador.
He obtained a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Carleton University, a Graduate Certificate in Natural Resources and Organization Management from the University of Michigan, and an M.A. in Environmental Security and Peace from the University for Peace.
