Research and Public Members

The Institute maintains a significant network of research and and public members, and assists them to share information on issues relating to good governance practices.  There are two categories of subscription open to anyone outside UC:

Individual membership

The annual cost of Individual membership is $132 for waged individuals and $44 for unwaged (prices inclusive of GST). Benefits include:

  • The ANZSOG Institute for Governance e-newsletter;
  • Access to the Institute's members-only website area, including our databases, event transcripts and podcasts, discussion groups, etc
  • Generous discounts for attendance at any Institute event, seminar or conference.
  • Networking opportunities and information sharing with other members of public, private and academic sectors; and
  • Professional affiliation with the Institute.

Corporate membership

The annual cost of Corporate membership is $1100 for organisations up to 200 staff and $4400 for organisations over 200 staff (prices inclusive of GST). In addition to the individual benefits accessible to all employees (employees of corporate members can apply for corporate public member here), corporate members benefits include:

  • Invitations to the CEO or nominated representative to attend events in the Boardroom Lunch series (an occasional series of high level discussions.)
  • Access to training and development programs in governance for staff of the organisation at concessional rates.

Non-profit organisations and those with very small employee numbers may negotiate a concessional rate on a case by case basis.  The Institute annual membership runs from July to June, corresponding with the financial year of the majority of our corporate members.  The Institute will consider a pro rata rate in the second half year on a case by case basis.
