Public Policy Analysis People

The theme, Socioeconomic Policy, seeks to embrace research within the Faculty of Business and Government broadly defined in this area which also includes staff in other Faculties.

Theme leader, Phil Lewis, is the Canberra Director of the Centre for Labour Market Research and leader of the Socioeconomic research team. He is also Professor of Economics at the University of Canberra. Phil is among the best-known economists in the area of employment, education and training in Australia and Asia. He also has an interest in macroeconomic policy and regional economics. He is the author of over 100 books, book chapters and journal articles.  He is on the editorial board of The Australian Journal of Labour Economics and Economic Analysis and Policy.
