Mon 16 November 2015Regional Development Australia with the University of Canberra / 9.00am - 11.30amAnn Harding Conference Centre, Building 24 at the University of Canberra

Regional Development Australia (RDA) ACT, RDA Southern Inland and University of Canberra invite you to attend the launch of the region’s Smart Work initiative.

SMART WORK – the new way to work that recognises …that the value of work is measured by what we do - achieve, irrespective of where we do it.

Smart Work is becoming increasingly popular and is particularly relevant for the ACT and surrounding region.

The trend recognises both the strength of our region’s knowledge economy, and the progression of the ICT capability to support this development. The Smart Work Launch will explain the concept of Smart Work, and identify the potential benefits of establishing Smart Work Hubs in the ACT and region for employers, employees and the community.

KEY SPEAKERS:
• Hon. Dr Peter Hendy MP, Member for Eden-Monaro NSW
• Ms Meegan Fitzharris MLA, ACT Legislative Assembly
• Professor Lawrence Pratchett, Dean Faculty of Business, Government and Law, University of Canberra
• Dr Richard Hu, Faculty of Business, Government and Law, University of Canberra

Followed by a Panel Discussion - How will Smart Work change your world?

A morning tea will be served following the event.
