Global Melbourne: A City in Motion

The Globalisation and Cities Research Program at the Institute for Governance released their latest report today, Global Melbourne: A City in Motion.

Their research examines trends in Melbourne including; migration patterns to, from and within Melbourne, the knowledge and skills of migrants, and also provides comparisons between these trends in relation to other global cities.

This report is one of a series of research projects as part of the collaboration between the Institute for Governance and the Commonwealth Department of Immigration and Border Protection, to better understand people movement to Australian cities in the context of contemporary globalization.
