Awards Committee Citation
“Kathryn has been awarded this excellence award for her outstanding contribution to the promotion of public sector excellence and in particular the work that she has done in enhancing the quality of service delivery in Australia and in advancing the position of women in the Australian public service. In 2011, Kathryn was presented with the immense challenge of integrating three complex delivery agencies into one cohesive organisation – Medicare, Child Support and Centrelink– and she has met that challenge with great skill, diligence and innovation. We are delighted to honour the career of such an outstanding public servant.”
